The Surf Club Re-opens

Walking into the new Surf Club feels like revisiting an old friend, one that has gone through a few upgrades, that is. The building that once housed the Waffle House has gone through a remarkable transformation under long-time Surf Club owner and well-loved local Bruce Cermak, and the soft blue lights, beautiful mural, cool air and freshly stained bar give the place a feeling of home - quite fitting in order to continue the tradition of being The Neighborhood Bar on the Beach. We spoke with Cermak on Tuesday, while he was waiting for his final permits to hopefully open this weekend. He told us about the positive responses he's received from his neighbors and the Town about the Surf Club's move across the street.
